Paapa Essel is an economist with over ten years of experience in macroeconomics, econometrics, and financial analysis. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Statistics from the University Of Ghana in 2015. He also holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Simon Fraser University, a Master of Science in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Master of Science in Finance from Simon Fraser University (Beedie School of Business). He worked with TSX Trust as a corporate governance analyst and is currently an economist in the public sector. His current role involves developing and maintaining econometric tools and macroeconomic forecasting models and conducting labour market analysis to advise public sector decision-making. His latest projects involve the preparation of detailed provincial and sub-provincial projections for Ontario and British Columbia, as well as a Canadian macroeconomic forecasting model using an empirical and semi-structural structure. All econometric tools, articles, and research conducted by PKE Economics are independent and based on publicly available data and resources.
